Webinar: The PEPFAR Technical Guidance on HIV Prevention for Men who have Sex with Men (MSM)

Published: October 7, 2011

In May 2011, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) issued its first-ever Technical Guidance on HIV Prevention for Men who have Sex with Men (MSM).  PEPFAR is one of the world’s largest funders focused on HIV and AIDS, and its new Technical Guidance on MSM represents a vital opportunity to address HIV’s disproportionate impact on MSM around the globe.

On October 6, 2011, the Global Forum on MSM & HIV (MSMGF) and amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research conducted a webinar on the details of the PEPFAR MSM Guidance, including:

  •     PEPFAR Core Package of Services for MSM
  •     Working with National Governments on MSM programs
  •     PEPFAR Funded Activities

A video of the webinar with accompanying audio is available here.  The slide set from this presentation is available here (pdf).
