Two members of LGBT community attacked in downtown Split

Police are searching for two young men who attacked two members of the LGBT community in the coastal city of Split on Saturday, lightly injuring one, the Split Police Department reported on Sunday.

Around 1415 hours Saturday, a 31 year-old male and a 22 year-old male encountered a group of young men in downtown Split. Two men separated from the group and started insulting them and finally attacked them.

The 31 year-old male sustained light injuries and was given medical assistance.

Police are searching for the perpetrators.
