English | Français

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the adoption of approaches aimed at mitigating disruption to essential HIV services.

This new 15 minute survey aims to learn more about the specific strategies adopted by organizations/programs serving or led by gay men, people who use drugs, sex workers and transgender people.

Survey findings will be used to design an advocacy roadmap for ensuring that strategies favored by our communities receive funding after the COVID-19 crisis. Such strategies can help expand community access to rights-based HIV testing, prevention, care and treatment services.

The survey is now open and will close August 9th

From the Survey:

Many HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs for key populations have introduced new or modified service delivery strategies to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 and promote uninterrupted access to services during the pandemic. To understand which services and program adaptations are most valued by key population communities during the pandemic and what policies and advocacy plans are needed for such services to be continued post-pandemic, the USAID- and PEPFAR-supported EpiC project and its partner MPact are organizing a series of virtual community discussions with key population-led CSOs and program beneficiaries.

The purpose of this brief online survey is to lay the foundation for these discussions by capturing preliminary inputs from key population program implementers, including individuals delivering HIV services as well as community advocates and service users, regarding what COVID-19 mitigation solutions they are currently implementing, which ones they are finding most effective and responsive to community needs, and what gaps remain.

Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary and your responses will be added to those of other survey participants and will only be reported in aggregate.
