Join nearly 500 leaders and experts in the feild of sexual health, HIV, and human rights at Out With It: Community Solutions for the Sexual Health and Rights of Young Gay and Bisexual Men. We have selected twelve teams led by youth advocates from around the world to present and workshop their solutions, two of which will be chosen at our event to move on to a pilot testing phase with MPact’s continued support.

09:30 Morning Plenary One: Queer Sex – Self Expression and Resistance
The opening plenary panel will set the tone for the rest of the day by specifically speaking to three inter-related issues: sexual health; safety and security; and rights and mobilization.

This plenary panel will focus on the use of new media and evaluation to strengthen ‘intraventions’, interventions, and home-grown solutions for supporting sexual health and human rights.

13:30 Afternoon Workshop Sessions
Select one session among a total of nine break-out sessions.

  • Six sessions will be led by our twelve youth-led innovation teams, with two teams presenting in each session. These are opportunities for attendees to help workshop and develop these solutions through audience participation and feedback.
  • Three sessions feature expert panels organized around unique issues of concern to young gay and bisexual men including advocacy tactics, PrEP and prevention, and the use of drugs and alcohol.

15:45 Global Challenge Pitches & Live Voting
The day will culminate at our closing plenary where you, our audience, will have the chance to select two of the twelve solutions to move on to a pilot testing phase after today’s conference, so be sure to stick around to vote for your favourite team!
